Houseology privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
Houseology works without an account. Unless you choose to sign in, your data stays on your device and is not stored on any server. There are no analytics, and the app does not ask to track you. The free version shows ads, described below.
What stays on your device
- Your name and birth date
- The number of the home you live in, homes you save and household members you add
- Your daily reminder setting. Reminders are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to us.
This data is deleted when you delete the app.
Optional account (sign in with Apple or Google)
You can sign in from Profile to keep your data on all your phones. If you do, Houseology stores the following with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, servers in the United States):
- Your account ID and email address. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your email; Apple then gives us a private relay address. With Google, Firebase also receives the name on your Google account.
- The data you entered in the app: your name and birth date, your home number, saved homes, household members' names and birth dates, and your numerology system.
This data is used only to sync the app between your devices. It is not used for ads, not sold and not shared with anyone else. It is encrypted in transit, and only your signed-in account can read it. Your daily reminder settings and Houseology Pro stay with each device or store account.
Deleting your account: open Profile → Delete account in the app. Your account and the copy of your data in the cloud are deleted straight away; the data on your phone stays until you delete the app. If you no longer have the app, see how to request deletion.
Address search
When you search for an address, the text you type is sent to the address service built into your device (Apple Maps on iPhone and iPad, the Google geocoding service on Android) to suggest matching addresses. Houseology does not store or see these searches. Apple's and Google's privacy policies apply to those services.
Advertising
The free version shows banner ads, on the result screen and at the bottom of Today, served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device type, IP address (used for approximate location) and how you interact with ads. Houseology does not use your device's advertising identifier: on iPhone and iPad the app never asks permission to track you, and on Android the app does not request access to the advertising ID.
In the EEA, the UK and other regions where the law requires it, you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice anytime under Profile → Privacy choices. Learn how Google uses this information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Buying Houseology Pro removes ads.
Purchases
Houseology Pro is purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment; Houseology only receives confirmation that the purchase was made.
Children
Houseology is not directed at children under 13.
